Sipchem Concludes the Program for Fostering Innovative Youth Initiatives in Partnership with Shabab Mujtamaie
CEO Eng. Abdullah Al-Saadoon crowned the winners in the closing ceremony for incubating innovative initiatives which considers one of the most important activities sustainable CSR, where the ceremony was held Sipchem Technology and Innovation Center “MANAR” on Saturday, 7th September 2024. With the presence of several officials from relevant organizations.
The program aims to empower youth with entrepreneurial skills and to build and market their initiatives using a developmental and professional approach, while providing an interactive environment for skill development.
During the ceremony, several pioneering youth projects in cultural and technological fields were awarded. The winning initiatives received prizes that included support for implementing these initiatives on the ground and developing them to have a clear impact on the community.
In his speech during the ceremony, the CEO affirmed: "We reaffirm our commitment and constant dedication to supporting the energies and talents of youth, fully empowering the community, believing that our youth are the essential and important building blocks for the future. Our focus on developing capabilities aligns with our values that support innovation, inspired by the wise leadership and Vision 2030 of the Kingdom."
It is worth noting that the program contributed to incubating six pioneering community initiatives with the participation of 18 young men and women. The program lasted for 60 days and achieved 82 training hours, which included interactive workshops, consulting sessions, and enriching meetings for the participants.
