 The Minister of Industry and Mineral Resources, Mr. Bandar bin Ibrahim Alkhorayef, honored Sipchem for its sponsorship of the third edition of the Industry Hackathon as a sustainability partner. In the presence of His Excellency Mohammad Al-Tuwaijri, Advisor to the Royal Court, and His Excellency Mr. Youssef Al-Bunyan, Minister of Education. This took place on Saturday, October 12, 2024, during the closing ceremony to recognize the winning teams of the hackathon, which was held in Riyadh.

The hackathon provides a platform that allows those interested in innovative solutions to present their ideas and participate in addressing the challenges facing the local manufacturing.

During the closing ceremony and on behalf of the sponsoring companies, CEO Eng. Abdullah bin Saif Al-Saadoon delivered a speech highlighting that Sipchem's sponsorship of the hackathon as a sustainability partner aims to empower youth and promote national development, as well as to provide sustainable solutions to industrial challenges. He also emphasized that sponsoring this event is an opportunity to enhance communication and collaboration among participants from various fields and backgrounds, creating a renewed platform for passion, creativity, and bold exploration. Additionally, it supports local manufacturers in leveraging the ideas and talents of young minds in the Kingdom to find sustainable solutions.
