Applications
EVA is used in hot melt adhesives, hot glue sticks, top of the line soccer cleats. EVA is also used in biomedical engineering applications as a drug delivery device. EVA is one of the materials popularly known as expanded rubber or foam rubber used as padding in equipment for various sports It is typically used as a shock absorber in sports shoes.
LDPE widely used for manufacturing various containers, dispensing bottles, wash bottles, tubing, plastic bags for computer components, and various molded laboratory equipment. Its most common use is in plastic bags. Other products made from LDPE include trays, food storage and laboratory containers, Juice and milk cartons, parts of computer hardware, such as hard disk drives, screen cards, and optical disc drives.
